Seattle Worldcon book (7 pieces)
In 2025 Worldcon returned to Seattle for the first time since 1961. I was commissioned to design and typeset the souvenir book. I used elements from Seacon (the first Worldcon in Seattle), as well as the 1962 World’s Fair, to tie into their nostalgia theme. This front piece was inspired by the 1962 Seattle World’s…

Stogies and Stories
I don’t get to do fun logos very often, so this was a great commission to work on. The directions were simple: “we need a bull smoking a cigar.” The greatest amount of work was probably deciding on which color to use. Stogies and Stories is a cigar lounge in Post Falls, Idaho.

These are a few of the cover designs I did around the Artist Guest of Honor for that year. For Norwescon 37, the artist guest of was…

Magic the Gathering Style Guide
I was commissioned to work on a Style Guide for the collectable card game, Magic the Gathering. These guide are sent out to artists that are commissioned to do illustrations for the card sets that come out. The guide needs to have a lot of information packed into small, digestible pieces. Because it’s sent out…

Product Illustration for Seattle Sports
Seattle Sports is an outdoor gear manufacturer and retailer based out of, wait for it, Seattle. I worked for them for several years, designing their packaging, catalogs, media ads, pretty much everything graphical. One of the more fun things was making product drawings, which were used on packaging, and in instruction manuals, that kind of…

Legion RPG Character Sheets
I was commissioned to design character sheets for a private RPG game, featuring members of the DC Comics property, Legion of Super Heroes. This is the background art used for three of the character sheets. I think if I were to do it again, I would increase the weight of the heroes’ given names, right…
